When looking to purchase Cryptocurrency make sure you focus on platforms that offer safe and secure storage.  Check for promotions and really read over the fees.  Choose the one that gives you more bang for your buck.  In my case, I use Coinbase. Coinbase maintains crypto insurance and all USD cash balances are covered by FDIC insurance, up to a maximum of $250,000.

Step 1
Grab a Coinbase account!  This is how your going to buy your Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, etc.  Click Here → Coinbase to receive $10 in free Bitcoin when you buy or sell your first $100 on Coinbase!

Step 2
Verify your bank account.  I setup a bank account dedicated for cryptocurrency and NFT purchases.  Experience Tip:  It takes up to 24-48 hours for Coinbase to verify your bank account.  Keep checking because they may verify quicker!

Step 3
After your bank is verified with Coinbase, you can now purchase your cryptocurrency! Click “Buy Now”.  Choose which cryptocurrency you would like to purchase.  In this case I bought Ethereum and Dogecoin. Watch your fees! After purchasing your cryptocurrencies, depending on which currency you’ve purchased, you must wait an ADDITIONAL 3-6 days for your funds to hit and convert into your Coinbase account.  Depending which currency you’ve bought you won’t be able to send or transfer your cryptocurrency until about a week, so keep that in mind.  If you are eyeing out that special NFT, just hope it’s not picked up before you are able to get your funds. 

Step 4
Finally, Get your MetaMask Account! MetaMask is a wallet that is an extension on your Google Chrome account.  You will be able to buy on Opensea with this account.  This is how you are going to purchase your special NFTs! You are almost there!
